Kerbside pick-up

The kerbside pick-up feature allows you to promote your contactless collection options for local inventory ads using either the pick up today or pick up later features. This feature places an indicator at the top of your ads, letting customers know that they can take advantage of kerbside or contactless pick-up.


How it works

  • A customer clicks on a local inventory ad with kerbside pick-up availability text.
  • The customer is directed to the retailer's product detail page.
  • On the retailer's website, customers can select a shop to view the selected item's price and availability, buy it online and select a contactless collection option.

Step 1 of 2: Review eligibility requirements

Ensure that you meet the following requirements before submitting your account for review:

  1. Complete local inventory ads onboarding and enable the pick up today or pick up later features.
  2. Provide a kerbside or contactless pick-up option to customers who purchase products on your website and prefer to collect in your shop.
  3. Allow customers to access kerbside or contactless pick-up options on your desktop and mobile websites without requiring customers to use an app.
  4. Identify your retail shop locations that support contactless collection by adding the 'kerbside pick-up' attribute to your Google Business Profiles.

Step 2 of 2: Submit your account for review

Once you have added the 'kerbside pick-up' attribute in your Google Business Profiles and reviewed the eligibility requirements, request a review of your account using the contact us form.
