Invite guests to a meeting

These instructions are for Enterprise Meet hardware accounts only. For help with Meet on Web, Android, and iOS, go to the Google Meet Help Center.

You can invite anyone to a Google Meet hardware meeting. Invite them through email from Google Meet hardware or by phone.

Invite a phone user

Participants invited by phone join as audio-only attendees. An administrator must enable the Call Phones feature in the Google Admin console. (Calls to emergency services are not supported.) For more information, see Change settings for all devices.

If global dialing is on, you can add a person to a meeting by calling them. This feature is available in most countries. For details, see Supported countries.

Note: Even if global dialing is off, you can still dial out to numbers in the U.S. and Canada. For details, see Set up Meet global dialing

Use adaptive audio in Meet

You and your guests can use adaptive audio as a solution in Meet if you don’t have dedicated conferencing hardware.

You can join meetings with multiple laptops in the same room using adaptive audio. The microphone and speakers in the room automatically detect and connect to the laptops of the different participants as they join the meeting room. Everyone can hear each other clearly without worrying about echo, disruptive audio feedback, or huddling around one laptop. For details, see Use adaptive audio in Meet.
