Use Companion mode to connect to a video meeting on a second screen in Google Meet. Having a second screen is useful when you're in a meeting room and you want to participate in activities or share your screen without worrying about echo. Learn more about Companion mode.
If you join a video meeting in a room with Meet hardware, you can also check in to the meeting so people can see your name on your participant tile and as being in the room. If you don’t check in, they can’t see your name in either place. Learn more about using Room check-in.
