Google Meet History for 1 Contact disappeared

I mean it's gone so I'm sure no one can fix that but I wondered if anyone else had the issue and if they know why. All of my Google meet history with one contact is erased. All the videos we sent back and forth are gone. Under the phone call history it has our video chats listed but none of that is under Google meet. It's just the last one we did when I found out the rest were gone. It treated him as a new contact and I had to invite him. I didn't delete them, his contact info, no numbers were changed, I didn't get a new phone. I have no idea what could have happened. HE can see them I guess. But it was like my Google meet got wiped for one contact. Anyone else have this issue and know why it happened? I can't figure it out.

Welcome to Google Meet support Community!

There are several resons for calling history dissapearing. Make sure:

You have not deleted your calling account, since deleting your calling account permanently deletes your calling history.

You are in the new Meet app. In your app, at the top left, tap Menu and then Help.
At the top right, tap More options and then Version info. If your version starts with “2022”: You are in the Meet (original) app (green meet icon) which doesn't include your Duo calling history.

To view your calling history and messages, open your updated Meet app. (Colorful icon)

While in your calling account tap on your avatar and switch to the account associated with your phone number.

If none of these steps work, please submit feedback: in your app, at the top left, tap Menu, and then Feedback. Include #lostcallhistory in the text.

Hi again Jen,

Try uninstall and install back the Google Meet app on your device.

Can you see the history for other contacts of yours?

What mobile device are you on? Which is the Android version?

Looking forward to the additional information.

I only use it for the one contact since we are far apart a lot so I don't have that to compare unfortunately. I did try uninstalling and all that. He says he can still see it all. I haven't changed phones in the midst of it. I double checked his contact info to see if maybe something was messed up there but it wasn't. I have a Galaxy s21 FE. I know there's only so much that can be done. I still prefer to use it despite. I'm hoping someone might come up with something I havent tried or thought of. If it was possible to get back it would be great but I still prefer to use it.
