Contact in meet will not delete!

Have a contact in meet that I cannot delete. The contact is not in gmail just the meet app. I long press and select delete but it is still there. When i try to select the correct contact the one I want to delete comes up instead. It is the same number just listed differently.

Have you tried deleting it from https://contacts.google.com ?

How do I delete the group chat part of the app when I hit the wrong choice ?

Unfortunately, there is no way to delete the group chat part of the Google Meet app. If you accidentally hit the wrong choice and created a group chat, you can only leave the group chat.

Hey!!

Try deleting the contact from a different device. If you have access to a computer, try deleting the contact from the Google Meet website.
