All Google Workspace editions have Host management. When it’s turned on, meeting hosts can:
- Add or remove people
- Send chat messages to meeting participants
- Lock audio
- Assign View only roles
- Lock video
- Add co-hosts
- Ask participants questions
Turn Host management on or off
- On your computer, go to Google Meet.
- Join a meeting.
- At the bottom right, click Host controls

- In the side panel, turn Host management on or off.
