Use annotations in Google Meet

On Android, you can use annotations if you present your screen and select Entire screen. If you're presenting using an Android device, you can't appoint co-annotators.

How to use annotations in Google Meet

In a meeting:

  1. On your Android device, open the Meet app .
  2. Join a meeting.
  3. To present your screen:
    • Tap Share screen Share screen and then Entire screen.
    • Tap More options and then Share screen Share screen and then Entire screen.
      • This feature will soon be available through single app sharing.
  4. As the presenter, you'll get the notification 'You can annotate on the screen now. Everyone can see your annotations'.
  5. To select an annotation option, tap Draw emoji.
    • Select one of the following:
      • Pen
      • Eraser
      • Bin
  6. To close and clear all existing annotations, select Exit annotations.
