If we need to add or edit road information in Google Maps, you can let us know. Google Maps road errors include:
- Incorrect or missing road names
- Incorrect info about one-way and two-way roads
- A road that was drawn incorrectly
- Road closures
- A road on the map that does not exist
- Missing roads
Important: You can only submit edits to Maps in some countries and regions.
Fix incorrect info about a road
- On your iPhone or iPad, open the Google Maps app

- On the bottom, tap the 'Contribute' tab.
- Tap Update road

- Tap the road that you want to fix
- Select the type of info that you want to fix and enter the correct information.
- Tap Send.
Other.Add a missing road
- On your iPhone or iPad, open the Google Maps app
- On the bottom, tap the 'Contribute' tab.
- Tap Update road.
- Tap Missing road.
- Tap 'Add first road'.
- Move the pin to the location where the missing road begins.
- On the bottom, tap plus
to start drawing.
- Drag the pin to the location where the road ends and tap plus
- Add the road name and road type and tap Save.
- To complete the road, tap Done

- To add additional missing roads, tap 'Add another road' and follow steps 6–10.
- To submit the road, tap Next. Add more details if any and then tap Send.
