Important: AI Inbox is currently in beta and may change over time. Your use of AI Inbox is covered by the Google Cloud Terms of Service, and the specific terms for pre-release features do not apply.
To help you manage a busy inbox, AI Inbox can show you priority emails and topics.
Learn how AI Inbox works
AI Inbox helps surface to-dos and topics that matter most, all in one place. When you open AI Inbox, there are 2 sections:
- Suggested to-dos: This section shows high-priority items from incoming emails that need your attention. It also explains what you need to do in bold text, like a due date for a utility or credit-card bill.
- Topics to catch up on: This section provides a quick summary of important updates across projects and topics. It helps you stay updated on items often scattered in various email threads. Examples include upcoming travel, restaurant reservations, or purchase confirmations.
To show the most relevant items, AI Inbox:
- Only surfaces information from messages in your “Primary” tab and not other tabs, such as “Social” or “Promotions.”
- Filters out messages like spam or that you archive, delete, mute, or snooze.
- Does not support attachments, delegated inboxes, or encrypted emails.
What you need
Important: This feature is only available in the US and in English.
- For personal Google Accounts: You need an eligible Google AI plan:
