Why reviews matter
Star ratings and number of reviews affect how your business is ranked within Local Services Ads. Providers with higher star ratings and more reviews stand out and typically book more jobs.
How can I get reviews?
Customers are more likely to leave a review if the request comes from you directly. If you're advertising directly with Google, rather than through our partner affiliate network, you can encourage customers to leave reviews by sharing a URL specific to your business. Learn about how to get reviews.
Where to access reviews
Your customer reviews are managed through Google Business Profile Manager, not your Local Service Ads account.
Your reviews will also appear in the “Review” section on your Local Services Ads dashboard.
Customer Reviews may appear on and be used across Google services including Maps, Search, and YouTube and 3rd party sites and apps that use Google services.
Review policies
Customer reviews are governed by Maps user contributed content policies. Learn more about Prohibited & restricted content.
Content that violates these policies will be removed. If you see a review that’s inaccurate or inappropriate, you can report it.
Reviews Count requirements
Review requirements vary by business category and country, but a business may need up to 5 reviews to go live on Google Search. Review the requirements by category to learn about the review requirements for your business.
