You can now discover and shop for hardware devices, such as Pixel or Samsung smartphones listed for sale on Google Store, on Google Play. When you buy hardware listed on Google Store that's featured on Google Play, your purchase is processed and managed on the Google Store.
How are these hardware purchases processed
You can now explore the latest smartphones and select hardware products available for sale on Google Store through the Google Play app or website, but your actual purchase is concluded entirely through Google Store, and is governed by the Google Store Terms of Sale for Devices. Google Play billing policies don't apply and your payment methods found on Google Store can be used to conclude purchases.
Learn about Google Play’s role in these transactions
Google Play acts strictly as the entry point and discovery provider. Promotional banners on Google Play direct you to a specialized Google Store page viewable within Google Play. You can then browse the devices on the Google Store without exiting the Google Play app or website. Any promotional codes appearing on the banners will be automatically applied during checkout by Google Store. Google Play has no involvement in payment processing, delivery, invoicing, offers-related support, or any other customer support. For questions about your purchases, go to the Google Store Help Center.
