You can bundle a primary subscription together with multiple, optional subscription add-ons with Google Play. This means you can buy the subscription and all add-ons in a single purchase. You’ll pay one combined price and everything will stay in sync as one subscription. The primary subscription is called the base subscription, and any additional subscriptions purchased together with the base subscription are called add-ons. For example, you might subscribe to a popular video streaming service (the base subscription), and also purchase special content or features like 4K streaming, downloadable content, or premium channels (the add-ons).

- Add-ons share the same billing schedule: All add-ons under the same base subscription will have the same recurring billing period, like monthly or annual, and the same billing schedule. This applies after any individual trial or discounted phases end. When you subscribe to an add-on, Google Play will automatically align your billing schedule with your base subscription's billing schedule. You might find a prorated charge for the add-on when you first purchase it. This could also occur after a trial or discounted phase for the add-on ends.
- When you cancel your base subscription, it automatically cancels associated add-ons: You can only cancel your base subscription and add-ons together. Upon cancellation, the base subscription and all add-ons in your bundle will stop auto-renewing, and expire at the end of the corresponding billing periods. You’ll be notified by Google Play that your base subscription with associated add-ons is canceled.
- You can’t pause add-ons: Currently, you can’t pause a subscription with add-ons.
Subscribe to & cancel add-ons
- Subscribe to add-ons: When you subscribe to an add-on, you may gain access immediately or at the end of the billing period. You may get a prorated charge for the remainder of the current billing period to align the next renewal date with the base subscription.
- Cancel add-ons: You can’t cancel individual add-ons at this time from Google Play. However, the app may provide this option. You can cancel your entire subscription on the Google Play subscription center.
