If you create more than one gamer profile, you can switch between different accounts within Play Games on PC. For example, you can have different accounts for different activities or communities.
Add and switch between accounts
Important: Accounts aren’t private entities. They’re accessible and visible to anyone who uses Play Games on PC on the same device. Anyone can find the information shared or posted through the account, regardless of their relationship to the account holder.
- Add an account:
- Click your Profile image.
- Select the option to add a new account.
- If you haven’t already created a gamer name, you'll be prompted to sign in with your Google Account and create a gamer name.
- To add up to five accounts, repeat these steps.
- Switch between accounts: Once accounts are added, to easily switch between them:
- Click the Profile image.
- Select a different account.
- Subsequent game launches will now use the currently selected or switched account.
Troubleshoot issues with several accounts
If you experience difficulty when you add or switch accounts:
- Make sure you’re on version 25.3.341.12 or later of Play Games.
- Check your Internet connection.
- Restart Play Games on PC from the Windows system tray.
- Accounts under supervision can’t add several accounts.
