Gift cards and codes are a great gift for friends and family that use Google Play or Google Play Games Beta on PC.
You can get physical Google Play gift cards and digital gift cards (also referred to as gift codes) by email, SMS, or other methods of delivery. Learn more about gift cards & where to buy them.
Tip: Play gift cards may only be redeemed and used in the country and currency in which they were purchased.
To redeem a gift card or gift code:
- On your Android device, open the Google Play app
.
- At the top right, tap your Profile picture.
- Tap Payments & subscriptions
Redeem code.
- Enter the code.
- Tap Redeem.
- Review the account that'll receive the balance you redeem.
- Tap Confirm.

- Gift card redemption codes are typically a 16-digit combination of numbers and letters.
- Digital gift codes sent to you by email, SMS, or other methods may have a different number of digits, but will be a combination of numbers and letters.
