Google Play Console is now offering the opportunity for eligible developers to request a new maximum price limit of US$4,999.99 (or local equivalent) for their in-app products, subscriptions and paid apps.
This follows our previous announcement at I/O 2024, which increased the limit from US$400 to US$999.99. Bear in mind that these limits are applied in local currency and are subject to change.

Who is eligible for the US$4,999.99 price limit?
To request a higher price limit, your developer account must meet all criteria listed below:
- Active account and apps: Your Google Play Developer account must be active and your apps must be in good standing.
- Policy compliant: You must be in compliance with all Google Play Developer Programme Policies and the terms outlined in the Developer Distribution Agreement.
- Earnings threshold: Your total earnings on Google Play must have exceeded US$1 million within the last 12-month period.
How to request a higher price limit:
You can request the US$4,999.99 price limit by following the steps below:
- Review eligibility: Your developer account meets all the criteria mentioned above.
- Submit the request form: This form will require you to provide essential information, including:
- Your Google Play Developer account ID.
- The package names of the specific apps for which you are requesting the higher price limit.
- A clear and detailed justification for why you require the increased price limit for your in-app products, subscriptions or paid apps.
- Await response: Once you submit the form, our team will review your request.
