Pixel watch series 1 stopped charging

Purchased a new cable and charger without success, tried reboot via fasthub without success, the only time the watch appears to charge is when in fasthub status before reset, wehe the phone resets it still does not charge , any assistance would be greatly appreciated

My Google pixel 7 pro accommodates wireless charging and switches off immediately after establishing a connection

I did NOT use a phone to act as a Qi charger. When I tried initially, the watch would go into charging mode and then immediately drop out. I think the phone was trying to conserve energy and shut off Qi when it did not detect a load, and the PW1 did not draw enough current to be detected.

But I tried a couple of third-party AC-powered Qi chargers (IKEA and Tylt) and they both worked flawlessly once I got the positioning right.
