Get a notification on your Pixel Watch when you leave your phone behind.
Important: This feature is off by default. When the feature is on, it’ll use your watch’s location and nearby device permissions.
To avoid unnecessary notifications, your watch will only send a reminder if you have disconnected and significantly changed your location.

About Set up Notify when left behind
Important:
- Turn Bluetooth on both your phone and watch to use this feature.
- By default, “Notify when left behind” is off. Turn the feature on in your Google Pixel Watch’s app settings and allow Bluetooth permissions if not already allowed.
- Make sure your watch is paired to your phone through Bluetooth.
In the Google Pixel Watch app
- On your phone, open the Google Pixel Watch app
and select your watch.
- Tap Watch preferences
