Find your Pixel Watch

If your Google Pixel Watch has been paired with a compatible Android device, you can use that device to help find it when it’s misplaced.

Important:

Pixel Watch generations each have different software compatibility.

  • Pixel Watch: Version 8.0 or newer
  • Pixel Watch 2: Version 9.0 or newer
  • Pixel Watch 3: Version 10.0 or newer

Before you get started

  • Your watch must be paired to a compatible device with location enabled. Learn how to enable your location. If you can't find Location, go to your device manufacturer's support site for help.
  • When you turn on Location with certain settings, you may also make your device's location available to other apps and services.
  • Your watch needs to be added to Find Hub. You can do this when you pair your Pixel Watch for the first time or in your settings.
  • You must be the owner of the Pixel Watch. If you purchased from a reseller or if you use a previously owned watch, you need to take ownership of the device.

Connect your Pixel Watch to Find Hub

During set up

When you pair your Pixel Watch for the first time to your device, you can add your watch to Google’s Find Hub network. Ensure your location settings are enabled.

Set up from your Settings or Pixel Watch app

If you didn’t connect your Pixel Watch to the Find Hub app, you can turn it on from your settings or Pixel Watch app.

  • On a Pixel phone with Android 10+: Go to Settings and then Connected devices. Then, tap Settings by your paired Pixel Watch name.
  • On other Android devices: Open the Google Pixel Watch app Google Pixel Watch. Then, tap Find device and then Find when disconnected. Follow the on-screen instructions to add your watch to Android's Find Hub network.
  • From the Pixel Watch app: Open the Google Pixel Watch app Google Pixel Watch. Then, tap Find device and then Find when disconnected.

Receive unknown tracker alerts

If an unknown device is detected together with you for an extended period, you may receive an unknown tracker alert. Learn more about unknown trackers.

Ring your Pixel Watch

If you’ve misplaced your Pixel Watch but it’s still connected to your device, you can find it easier if you make it ring. The ring will begin at a low volume and become progressively louder over time.

  1. Based on your device, you can change the settings for your watch in different ways:
    • On a Pixel phone with Android 10+: Go to Settings and then Connected Devices. Then, tap Settings by your paired Pixel Watch name.
    • On other Android devices: Open the Google Pixel Watch app Google Pixel Watch.
  2. Tap Find device.
  3. Your watch must be nearby and connected to your phone to ring. The sound starts at zero volume and gradually increases over 20 seconds.
  4. Once you've found your Pixel Watch, you can silence it if you do any of the following:
    • From the Find Device screen, tap Mute.
    • Leave the Find Device screen.
    • Lock your phone.

Check the last known location

If you’ve misplaced your Pixel Watch, whether it's connected or not, Find Hub makes it easier to find. If you pair your Pixel Watch with a compatible device with Location and offline finding enabled, it'll remember where it was last connected. Learn more about offline finding for Find Hub.

While this won’t give you an exact or current location, it helps you determine where to start searching. For example, you might have left the watch at your home or your workplace.

If you haven’t previously done so, you may be asked to consent to Find Hub Data Processing policies.

From your paired device

  1. Open the Open the Pixel Watch app Google Pixel Watch and then System and then Find device.
  2. If the Google Pixel Watch is currently disconnected, tap Last known location to go to the Find Hub.
Tip: If you don’t have Find Hub installed yet, it will ask you to install it from the Play Store.
  3. Select the Pixel Watch from the list of active devices linked to your account.

Use the Find Hub Android app or web browser

  1. Open the Find Hub Android app or Find Hub page.
  2. Log in to the Google Account associated with your Pixel Watch.
  3. Select Pixel Watch.
