Can't make outgoing phone calls
Both the Pixel Watch LTE and Pixel Watch Wi-Fi can make outgoing phone calls. If you have an LTE carrier plan, you can make calls without your phone nearby while the Pixel Watch Wi-Fi version must be connected to Bluetooth to make a call.
- Confirm that all steps were fully completed during setup.
- Check your connection to Bluetooth and Wi-Fi or LTE.
Follow the instructions below to confirm that your watch is connected:
Verify that your Google Pixel Watch has a cellular plan
- On your Google Pixel Watch, swipe down then tap Settings
.
- Tap Connectivity
Mobile.
If you don't see a Mobile setting, your watch doesn't have cellular service. You must have a Google Pixel Watch LTE to get cellular service on your watch. You must use the same carrier for both your watch and phone service.
Verify Google Pixel Watch Wi-Fi's Bluetooth connection
- On your Google Pixel Watch, swipe down then tap Settings

- Tap Connectivity
Bluetooth.
- Turn on Bluetooth.
- Make sure your nearby phone is connected to Bluetooth as well.
Can't send or receive SMS/MMS messages
Note: Google Pixel Watch syncs texts with your phone so your connected phone must be online.
Not receiving notifications for missed calls
you have missed calls that you haven't gotten notifications for, make sure that you're not muting call notifications.
- On Google Pixel Watch, swipe down from the top of the screen.
- Make sure that the modes that mute notifications are turned off.
