If you have more than one app that does the same thing, you can pick which app to use by default. For example, if you have multiple photo editing apps, you can choose which one to use to open a photo.

Set default apps on your Pixel Tablet
Pick when asked- If your phone or tablet asks which app to use, tap the app you want.
- To choose how often you want to use the app for this action, tap Always or Just once.
- If you choose Always: Your device won't ask which app to use anymore.
- If you choose Just once: Your device uses the app just once.
- To have your device ask again, you can clear the default apps. Learn how to clear defaults.
- Open your device's Settings app.
- Tap Apps

- Tap the app that you want to use by default.
