Important: This works with Android 6 version and later.

On your computer
- Open the earbuds case but keep the earbuds inside.
- On your computer, make sure that Bluetooth is on.
- Press and hold the pairing button until the light starts to blink for 3 seconds.
- Click Google Buds

On your phone
Make sure your Pixel or Android phone is on the latest firmware version and your Pixel Buds app is on the latest version.
To check on Pixel:
- Go to Settings.
- Tap Connected devices
For other Android devices:
- Download the Pixel Buds app from Google Play Store.
- Tap Pixel Buds app
On your computer

- When you wear your buds, make sure the “R” and “L” icons face toward you and are upright as you tuck them in your ear.
- To secure the stabilizer, twist your earbuds.
- If needed, try another eartip.
Tip: Each ear might need a different eartip size.
- To find the most comfortable fit, save your eartips to compare sizes.

4: Store & charge your buds

- To charge your earbuds: Insert them into the correct slots until the indicator light turns on and the lid closes. To assist with re-insertion, you’ll find left and right icons for each earbud.
- To charge your case: Plug it into a power source. An orange light on the case indicates that your case is charging.
Tip: Your Pixel Buds charge inside a charged case even if it’s not connected to a power source.
5: Clean your Pixel Buds

To get better audio quality and consistent charging, clean your earbuds regularly. Learn how to clean your Pixel buds.
Cleaning Steps:
- Pour regular water on one cup and micellar water on the other cup. Pour just enough to be able to dip your toothbrush.
- Dip the toothbrush in micellar water and swish around to make sure that the bristles are saturated. Hold your earbud in one hand and brush the mesh in deep circular motion for 15 seconds.
- Blot the earbud on a paper towel to dry the earbud mesh. Repeat steps 2 and 3 twice.
- Dip your toothbrush in micellar water, then dip in regular water to rinse. Swirl your toothbrush in the water to make sure the bristles are clean from earwax.
- Brush the mesh one last time with deep circular motions for 15 seconds.
- Blot the earbud on a paper towel and air dry for up to 2 hours to ensure they are fully dry.
