Google Pixel Buds are designed to provide a high-quality and comfortable listening experience. Read this article to learn how to properly adjust Pixel Buds to best fit your ears.
Get the right fit
- Gently insert each earbud so that the eartip is inside each ear.
- Make sure that the G logo faces outward and is not upside down.
- To get the best fit for your ears, the Pixel Buds Pro 2 has a Twist-to-adjust stabilizer. It's the black fin at the top and should be tucked toward the back of your ear.
- Twist the stabilizer counter-clockwise to lock your earbuds securely in place when you do physical activities.
- Adjust the stabilizer clockwise to loosen the fit for regular or comfortable use.
Choose the right eartips
- Pixel Buds Pro 2 comes with medium-sized eartips attached. If the fit doesn't feel right, try the other eartip sizes in the box. The box contains eartips in extra small, small, and large sizes.
- You might need a different size for each ear. Keep your eartips handy so you can try different sizes until you find the best fit.

Every ear is unique so it’s not always possible to get a perfect seal, which can result in audio leaks. With Silent Seal™ 2.0, Pixel Buds Pro 2 can adapt to the shape of your ear and adjust Active Noise Control (ANC) to compensate. This allows you to fully immerse yourself in music or clearly hear your video call.
Get the right fit
- Gently insert both earbuds into your ears.
- Slightly rotate it back and forth until it comfortably stays in place when you move your head or tap either earbud.
Choose the right eartips
- Your Pixel Buds comes with medium-sized eartips attached. The box contains eartips in small and large sizes.
- Ears are unique so your left ear may be different from your right ear. Try different sizes for each ear to find the best fit. A tight seal gives you better sound, noise cancellation, and mic performance.
- If you don’t get the audio or call quality you expect, try bigger eartips. To swap eartips:
- Pull the attached eartip off then press the other eartip onto the earbud until you feel a light snap.
- Gently pull on the eartip to ensure that it's properly attached.
