Why do I get Google Pay emails?You’ll get emails about transactions if you have money in Google Pay. These emails help you keep track of what you've spent or received with Google Pay. Most emails from Google Pay balance notifications are automatically created.
How often you receive emails depends on how often you use Google Pay. You can get these emails once a month or once every three months if you don’t use it often.

You can receive Google Pay emails, even without a balance, if you have a linked debit card or bank account. You can use Google Pay to pay with your bank account or debit card.

Why did I get the email "Your annual notice about our customer service and error resolution policy?"
This is a yearly email sent to users who have a payment method linked to their Google Account. If you think a purchase was made without your permission, you can dispute or report it to us.
If you had a debit card or bank account linked to your Google Account at any point this year, you can send money to friends or family using the Google Pay app. If you still have this payment method linked to your account, you can find it under "Payment methods" at wallet.google.com.
