You can change the audio settings of your Google Nest or Home speakers or displays in the Google Home app. You can also change the audio settings of the following Chromecast devices:
- Chromecast (3rd gen or older)
- Chromecast Ultra
- Chromecast Audio

Adjust equalizer
- Open the Google Home app

Verify that the Google Account shown is the one linked to your Google device.
- If correct, tap Close
to exit the account window.
- If you need to switch accounts, tap the drop down
another account or Add another account.
- If correct, tap Close
- Tap Home
All devices
, then touch and hold your device's tile.
- Tap Settings

Equalizer.
- Adjust Bass and Treble levels.
Turn on surround sound
Choose to turn on surround sound on your Chromecast (3rd gen or older) or Chromecast Ultra:
- Open the Google Home app

- Tap Settings

- Scroll to "Sound settings," then tap Surround sound.
By default, surround sound mode is set to auto-detect. You can change the mode to:
- AC3/EAC3 surround sound
- AC3 surround sound only
- Stereo only
Check the modes your TV supports before you change this setting. If you switch to a mode your TV doesn't support, you might not get any audio.
