National ACE partnered with Google Nest to provide AAPISTRONG Nest Cam Kits to select Asian American Pacific Islander or AAPI-owned businesses. This initiative is designed to help create safer businesses in our communities through helpful Nest products.
The National ACE reviews and approves the eligibility of businesses, and ensures that they meet the requirements. The owners must:
- Make sure that the business is majority (51% or more) Asian American, Pacific Islander, Native Hawaiian or AAPI-owned.
- Base the business in the United States.
- Currently operate the business.
- Operate the business in a maximum of 3 locations.
- Not make the business part of a chain or franchise.
- Be willing to be interviewed for earned-media opportunities related to this grant.
- Understand that the grant opportunity is only open to for-profit businesses.
Each AAPISTRONG Nest Cam Kit includes 3 Nest Cam (indoor, wired) cameras, professional installation service through SafeStreets, and a one-year subscription to Nest Aware. Together, these products can help businesses increase office security.
