Google Fitbit Air HSA/FSA Eligibility

Important: This article applies to US customers only, for devices purchased June 15, 2026 and later.

Google Fitbit Air (excluding special editions) is HSA and FSA eligible under many health plans to qualifying customers. That means you may be able to use your Health Savings Account (HSA) or Flexible Spending Account (FSA) to cover the cost of the device, if you qualify, depending on the requirements of your health plan administrator.

Always check plan eligibility

  • Before purchasing, confirm with your plan administrator if your purchase of Google Fitbit Air (excluding special editions) is covered. Eligibility and reimbursement procedures vary by HSA/FSA plan and administrator.
  • Google cannot guarantee that Google Fitbit Air will be eligible for reimbursement from your FSA or HSA. Whether or not an expense may be reimbursed from your FSA or HSA depends on your specific circumstances, such as your healthcare plan.
  • Your health plan administrator may ask you to provide additional documentation.

If eligible, use HSA/FSA funds to buy Google Fitbit Air [Excluding Special Editions]

After confirming that your administrator will cover your purchase of Google Fitbit Air, you can pay for Google Fitbit Air directly with an HSA or FSA card at certain retailers. If the retailer doesn’t accept HSA/FSA cards, you can pay for the device yourself, then submit the receipt to your health plan administrator for reimbursement.

Get reimbursed from your HSA/FSA (Google Store)

For Google Store and other retailers that don’t accept payment with HSA/FSA cards, you may be eligible to get reimbursed for your Google Fitbit Air purchase:

  1. Buy Google Fitbit Air: Buy the device from the Google Store or an authorized retailer using a standard payment method (for example, credit card or debit card).
  2. Keep your receipt: Make sure to save the itemized receipt for your purchase. This receipt will serve as proof of purchase for your HSA/FSA administrator. For purchases from Google Store, you will receive an email confirmation of your receipt.
  3. Submit for reimbursement: Send your receipt and any other required documentation to your HSA/FSA plan administrator for reimbursement. Before purchasing, always check with your plan administrator for specific submission guidelines and forms, as the process can vary by plan.

Pay with your HSA/FSA card at qualifying retailers

  1. Purchase Google Fitbit Air: Buy your device from the authorized retailer using the HSA or FSA card provided by your plan administrator.
  2. Keep your receipt: Make sure to save the itemized receipt for your purchase. This receipt will serve as proof of purchase for your HSA/FSA administrator.
  3. Submit documentation: If your administrator requires it, submit your receipt to your HSA/FSA plan administrator as proof that your purchase was for a qualified medical expense.
