Your search engine lets you search the web from your home screen or your browser. In some countries, Google Search is Chrome's default search engine. In others, you may be asked to choose your default search engine. You can change your default search engine anytime.
When you set your search engine when you set up your device, it only affects the Google Chrome browser. Your initial choice won’t affect your entire device and third-party search engines aren’t automatically downloaded.
