Report an issue or send feedback on Googlebook

To improve your experience and help address issues on your Googlebook, you can share feedback.

Report a problem or send feedback

Important: Guest users and accounts of users who are minors won’t be able to report a problem or send feedback.

1. On your Googlebook, open the Feedback app.
   • Alternatively, on your keyboard, you can also press Action + Ctrl + Backspace.
   • If you don't have a keyboard:
     1. Select and hold the Power button for 3 seconds.
     2. Select Feedback .
2. Under “Provide a description,” enter a description of the issue.
   • To recreate the issue you want to report, you can include the steps to follow.
   • Example: “I can't make video calls. It just started happening. The call starts normally and then the video turns off.”
3. Under “Category,” search and pick the relevant category for the issue you want to report.
   • Results appear and refresh as you type.
4. From the relevant category, select Next.
5. On the feedback page, include relevant information in your report that can help investigate and resolve the issue.
   • If you’re signed in, you can:
     • Attach files: Select Add files.
       • You can add images, videos, PDF documents, audio recordings, text, or ZIP files.
     • Opt-in for email updates: Next to “Allow Google to email you for more information or updates,” select the checkbox.
       • The email address you’re logged in with automatically appears.
     • Share diagnostic data: Next to “Send system and app info and metrics,” select the checkbox.
     • Modify the time the issue occurred: Select Time issue occurred.
       • By default, the time when you started the Feedback app is used.
   • If you’re not signed in, you can only:
     • Share diagnostic data: Next to “Send system and app info and metrics,” select the checkbox.
6. Select Submit.

Note:

• The Feedback app isn't accessible on the lockscreen.
• In most cases, we won't be able to send you an individualized response, but we'll investigate your report and use the information you provide to improve Googlebook.
