You can personalize your Googlebook's Home screen appearance to match your style and preferences. You can set up a screen saver, customize the color scheme, adjust the color contrast, and change the appearance of your device’s icons.
Set up a screen saver
Your screen saver displays a static image, moving image, or pattern when your screen is inactive.
- Open your Googlebook’s Settings app

- Select Wallpaper & style

- To set up, turn on Use screen saver.
- Select a screen saver.
Customize your device’s color scheme
Change the color theme for your device, windows, menus, notifications and more.
- Open your Googlebook’s Settings app

- Select Wallpaper & style
Home screen
Colors.
- Choose a color scheme.
- To use Dark theme, turn on Dark theme.
- At the top right, select Apply.
Customize your device’s color contrast
Change your Home screen’s color contrast to make text, buttons, and icons stand out.
Important:
- Some apps don’t support every color and text contrast setting.
- Higher contrast makes text, buttons, and icons stand out.
- Open your Googlebook’s Settings app

- Select your preferred contrast:
- Default
- Medium
- High
Tip: To add a black or white background around text, turn on Outline text.
Customize how your icons are displayed
Add styles and shapes to your icons.
- Open your Googlebook’s Settings app
.
- Select Wallpaper & style
Home screen
Icons.
- You can change:
- Icon Style: Select Style then Default or Minimal.
- Icon Shape: Select Shape and then pick the shape you want your icons to be.
- Show app names: Select Names
toggle on Show app names.
- At the top right, select Apply.
