Unlock your Googlebook’s bootloader

A developer or advanced user can unlock their device’s bootloader to install a custom version of the operating system or test an app. Most users don’t need to unlock their Googlebook’s bootloader.

Important:

  • Unlocking your device’s bootloader erases all data from your device and disables device security.
  • Modifications aren't supported by Google and can cause hardware, software, or security issues and may void warranty.
