Print from your Googlebook

To print from your Googlebook, add a printer that supports a Wi-Fi, ethernet, or USB connection. Currently, Googlebooks don't support Bluetooth printing.

Connect both devices to the same local network

Important: Your printer and Googlebook must be connected to the same local network.
Alternatively, connect your printer directly to your Googlebook with a USB cable.

  1. Turn on your printer.
  2. Connect your printer to an internet network.
    • If you need help, follow your printer manufacturer’s instructions.
  3. Turn on your Googlebook and sign in.
  4. Connect your Googlebook to the same network as your printer.

Print content from an app

How you print depends on the app you use. Not all apps support direct printing.

  1. Connect your printer to the same Wi-Fi network as your device, or plug it into the device directly.
  2. Open the app you want to print content from.
  3. Find the app's print menu. This menu often varies by app, possibly under "More" or a three-dot menu. If a print option is not displayed, find a "Share" option. Check if you can share content with your printer. You can also right-click the item you want to print.
  4. At the top left of the print dialog, use the dropdown menu to select your printer.
  5. Allow a few seconds for printer options and capabilities to display.
  6. After printer options populate, select your desired settings, such as number of copies or paper size.
  7. Select Print at the bottom right.

For more advanced options, select the More options button if displayed options are insufficient.

  2. Select Connected devices and then Connection preferences and then Printing.
  3. Select Add service. The Google Play Store  will open.

Most users do not need to disable print services. However, if you are troubleshooting a printing problem that might be caused by a particular service, you can turn it off.

  1. Open your Googlebook’s Settings app .

  • If an app can't print, take a screenshot of the app's screen and then print the image.
  • Check that your Googlebook and printer are connected to the same internet network.
  • If possible, connect your printer directly to your Googlebook with a USB cable.
