Customize your Taskbar on your Googlebook

At the bottom of your screen, there’s a row of apps called the Taskbar. You can seamlessly switch between apps through the Taskbar. It can also be customized to show your most frequently used apps.

Navigating your Taskbar

To open an app from the Taskbar, select its icon. If the app icon has a horizontal line below, this means it’s open or active.

  • Pinned apps: Pin apps you frequently use for easy access.
  • Unpinned apps: When you open an app that isn’t pinned on your Taskbar, its icon appears on the right side of the Taskbar.
  • Action Google G icon: Select this to find and search for all of your apps.
  • Grouped windows: If multiple windows of the same app are open, they collapse into one Taskbar icon. Select the icon to view all open windows, then select the one you want.
