To quickly access your favorite content, you can customize and organize your Googlebook Home screen. You can add, organize and arrange apps, widgets, and files to your Home screen and change the layout.
Add items to your Home screen on Googlebook
Add an app- Right-click the app.
- Select Add to Home screen.
- Alternatively, drag the app directly from All apps onto your Home screen.
- On your Home screen, right-click on an empty area.
- Select Browse widgets.
- Select the widget you want to add to your Home screen.
- Select Add.
- Drag your selected widget to your preferred location.
- Right-click the app.
- Select Add to Taskbar.
- You can also drag and drop the app to the Taskbar.
Organize your Home screen on your Googlebook
Group appsDrag and drop one app onto another app on your Home screen. You cannot right-click to create an app group.
To rename the app group:
- Select the app group to open it.
- Select the current title.
- Enter a new name.
- On your Home screen, open the context menu on an empty area.
- Select New folder.
Tip: Files and apps cannot be combined into the same group or folder.
To rename the file folder:
- Open the folder's context menu.
- Select Rename.
- Enter a new name.
To move an item within a workspace:
- Select the item.
- Drag it to a new position.
To move an item to another Home screen page:
- Drag the item to the left or right edge of the screen. The next Home screen page becomes available.
- You can move the item between Home screen pages.
- Open the context menu of the app, folder, or widget you want to remove.
- Select Remove.
Tip: If you remove all apps, folders, and widgets from a Home screen page, that page is automatically removed.
