Note: Smart campaigns can only be created in Smart mode. New and existing advertisers not in Smart mode are eligible for a variety of other campaigns.
View changes to your campaign with your Smart campaign's change history on the account overview page. You can use your change history to better understand the impact of the changes you make to your campaign.
How to view your Smart campaign's change history
Note: You can view your Smart campaign’s change history only on the web version of Google Ads.
- In your Google Ads account, click the Campaigns icon

- Click the Campaigns drop-down in the section menu, then click Campaigns.
- In the 'Workspace' tab, select Smart campaigns.
- Select the box of the Smart campaign that you’d like to edit.
- Optional: Adjust the date range in the top right-hand corner of the screen to view the change history from a specific time period.
- Select Change history in the blue bar that appears.
.Note: The change history shows changes made by the account owner. You may also see certain changes made by a Google support agent if you've contacted us about your ad.
