Edit or permanently remove negative keyword lists

If there are search terms that no longer give you unwanted impressions or clicks across multiple campaigns, you can edit or remove negative keyword lists that include those terms in Google Ads. This article shows you how to edit or permanently remove negative keyword lists.

Negative keywords lists can't be removed if they’re in use in at least 1 campaign. To remove a negative keyword list permanently, first remove the negative keyword list from any campaign it’s active in.
