Contents of the placement report
The full placement report provides a list of all the network sites where your Search, Shopping, and App campaign ads have been shown for the time range you select. The report includes:
- Placements: The specific websites on the Search Partner Network where your ads ran.
- Impressions: The number of impressions your ads received on each specific site.
How to access the placement report
The Search Partner Network placement report is part of the Content Suitability Report.
- Go to Report editor within the Campaigns menu

- Scroll down to the “When and where ads showed” expandable menu and select Content suitability.
The report will show a list of all the sites where your ads have run, along with impression data for the time range you select.
You can also access this reporting data through the Google Ads API:
- detail_content_suitability_placement_view
- group_content_suitability_placement_view
Consideration for report data
To make the report more manageable, data is only included for placements that meet certain performance thresholds. Placements that don’t meet these conditions won’t be included in the report. A site is only listed if it has met at least one of the following conditions during your selected time range:
- 5 or more impressions
- More than 0 clicks
- More than 0 video views
- More than 0 conversions
