Why this issue is happening
One or more URLs that you’ve submitted for your vehicle description page are invalid. Add a valid URL for the product that directs the user to a vehicle-specific page. Learn more about Vehicle ads activation.
A vehicle description page is where the customer is sent after clicking on your vehicle ad. When a vehicle description page doesn’t match your ad, customers can have a poor experience.
How to fix your issue
See the affected products
- Sign in to your Merchant Center account.
- Go to Products, then select the “Needs attention” tab.
- Use the filter icon above the table and select “What needs attention” to find all products affected by your issue.
To download a list (.csv) of all affected products for all issues:
- Select the download icon to download a list (.csv) of all affected products for all issues.
To download a list (.csv) of all affected products for a particular issue:
- Use the filter icon above the table and select “What needs attention” and find the issue
- Select the download icon to download a list (.csv) of all affected products for this particular issue.
Use a URL that sends users to a product-specific vehicle description page
- Filter the downloaded report so that you only see products with:
"Issue title" = Invalid vehicle description page - Add a valid URL for the product that directs the user to a vehicle-specific page.
Resubmit your product data
- After you’ve updated your product data, resubmit it using one of these methods:

After making the requested changes, check that you’ve fixed the issue by making sure it’s no longer listed on the “Needs attention” page.
