Your payments profile can't be linked to additional accounts

To enhance the security of your payments profile, we've implemented weekly limits on the number of Google Ads accounts that can be set up using a single monthly invoicing payments profile.

If you notice the error message "Your payments profile can't be linked to additional accounts" or "This billing setup can't be linked to additional accounts," it means you have reached these weekly limits. This message may appear when you're setting up a new account or changing the payer for an existing account.

Your monthly invoicing payments profile has a weekly limit of 1,500 account activations.

To resolve this issue, wait until the date shown in the error message for the limit to reset. If you are uploading a bulk spreadsheet, wait for a week after your last upload.

If you require a higher limit, please contact us. Tell us when you encountered the error (for example, when uploading a spreadsheet for new billing signups), provide the number of accounts needed and clear explanation for the increased number of accounts, along with any other relevant information that can help us understand your needs. We may be able to offer a temporary exception.
