Why this issue is happening
This error occurs when the geocoding service successfully processes your store's address, but the store matching service cannot find any corresponding geographical features for your store data source entry. In simpler terms, our system is unable to recognize your provided address as an existing business listing.
How to fix your issue
To resolve this issue, you need to make sure that there is a Google Business profile associated with this address. Having an accurate and claimed Google Business profile is crucial for our services to correctly identify and match your store.

Fix multiple stores at once
- Go to Data sources in your Merchant Center Settings.
- Select the Point of sale sources tab.
- Select your store data source.
- Select the download icon
to download a list (.csv) of all affected stores.
- Cross-reference the downloaded list with your uploaded store data. Ensure the related Google Business Listing is claimed and update the store name, store address, phone number and website URL for each affected store in your data source to align with a valid, well-formed name, address, phone number and website URL of the claimed Google Business Listing, ensuring consistency for geocoding and store matching.
- Reupload your corrected store data to the Merchant Center using an upload method of your preference.
