Before you begin
- You’ll need to enter a payment method.
- If you’d like to use monthly invoicing, set up that setting before entering your offer. Otherwise, your offer will be invalidated and the amount lost when you switch to invoicing.
New advertiser promotions
- Begin sign up to claim your offer.
- Note: Some entry channels require you to choose your promotional offer value prior to beginning sign up.
- Finish signing up to secure your offer.
- To view the status of your offer, click the Billing icon
in your Google Ads account then select Promotions.
Note: You’re considered a new advertiser if you’re creating an account for a business that has never advertised with Google Ads or if you’re expanding an existing business to a different country (with a new billing address).
Coded promotions (for new and existing advertisers)
- In your Google Ads account, click the Billing icon
- Click Promotions.
- Click the blue plus button

- Enter your promotional offer.
- Click Save.
Note: Manager account users can’t enter a promotional offer from the manager level. Manager accounts must visit the Promotions page of the account they’d like to apply a promotion to and follow steps above.
