To capture valuable insights while protecting user privacy, you need to collect consent from your website users. We recommend you use a Consent Management Platform (CMP) or work with your Content Management System (CMS) to collect consent and send it to Google.

Step 1 of 3: Set up a consent banner
- In the "Admin" panel of your Wordpress site, navigate to Plugins > Add New.
- In the search field, search for "MyAgilePrivacy".
- Select Install Now and then Activate.
- Visit My Agile Privacy to purchase a license that suits your needs.
- After you have your license key, return to your WordPress Admin panel.
- Navigate to My Agile Privacy > License.
- Enter the license code received via email and select Update Settings.
- Complete the initial setup by configuring your identity and policy settings.

Step 2 of 3: Find the Consent Mode settings
- Go to the Admin panel of your WordPress site.
- Navigate to My Agile Privacy > Consent.
- Locate the dedicated box for Consent Mode v2.
Step 3 of 3: Set up consent mode
Set up using Google Tag Manager
- Select Google Tag Manager from the implementation type field and Save.
- In your Google Tag Manager account:
- Choose New Tag > Tag configuration > Discover more tag types in the Community Template Gallery.
- Search for and select "MyAgilePrivacy CMP".
- Configure the tag:
- Consider enabling the URL passthrough option to maintain user origin data
- Set the default states for each parameter. It's recommended to use "denied".
- Leave the "Region" field blank to apply settings globally.
- Add an activator:
- Set up an activator for the tag.
- Select All Pages to ensure the tag is global on the site.
- Save the tag.

Set up using another platform or directly from your website’s code
- Select via My Agile Privacy from the "implementation type" field.
- There will be 4 parameters listed:
- analytics_storage
- ad_storage
- ad_user_data
- ad_personalization
- The default setting for each parameter is "denied". This is recommended for maximum compliance.
- Save your settings.
