Opting into landing page images enables Google AI to extract relevant visuals or images from your landing page to dynamically fit the content of your ads, when it’s predicted to improve your ad performance.
When you opt into landing page images, you’re confirming that you own all legal rights to the images on your landing page and have permission to share them with Google for use on your behalf in advertising or other commercial purposes. After you've opted into landing page images, Google Ads will identify and extract images from your landing page. Our system selects images from your landing page that are most relevant to the query or serving context based on the ad’s landing page.
If you’re opted into dynamic images, all new Performance Max campaigns will be created with landing page images enabled by default. However, you can opt into or out of landing page images within each of your Performance Max campaigns.
The images that are selected or created from your landing page go through a set of automated and manual quality checks before being selected to serve. You may not receive landing page images if Google can’t find a suitable image from your landing page that meets our quality standards or an image doesn’t exist.
