With the asset group URL options in Performance Max campaigns (Tracking template, Final URL suffix, and Custom parameters), advertisers can:
- Track performance directly at the asset group level.
- Gain deeper insights into how these asset groups contribute to achieving their campaign goals.
- Make targeted optimizations.
These settings enable advertisers to precisely measure asset group performance, thereby extending the tracking capabilities already available at the campaign level in Performance Max. With these new features, advertisers can better understand and improve the impact of their campaigns.
How to use asset group URL options in Performance Max campaigns
These settings can be found on the asset group level in your Performance Max campaign.
- Go to your Performance Max campaign where you want to use these tracking settings
- Select to expand the "Campaigns" tab
- Select the "Asset groups" tab
- Select Edit assets link on the relevant asset group
- Scroll to asset group URL options and enter desired Tracking template, Final URL suffix, and/or Custom parameters.
Note: These are the ValueTrack parameters available to use in Performance Max campaigns.
