You can target prime YouTube content with YouTube Select Shorts and reach your audience with ads at the top of the Shorts feed. These campaigns allow you to show your ads to the viewers who are most likely to engage with your brand.
How it works
YouTube Shorts ads with Reservation campaigns are available with YouTube Select Shorts, which gives you access to YouTube Select. This lets you target premium content on YouTube, such as Trending Music and Sports lineups.
“Ad position” is a new targeting feature for premier reach campaigns. When “First Position” serving is turned on, an ad from this campaign will be the first ad shown to your audience when they visit YouTube. First position targeting is available for Shorts ads, in addition to other in-stream ad formats. First position targeting doesn't apply to campaigns running on YouTube TV.
