Why this issue is happening
If the dealership license can’t be verified, your Vehicle advertiser account will be disapproved upon onboarding. State licensing is required.
How to fix your issue
To resolve this issue, you must have a valid dealership license in the state where your vehicles are located or offered for sale.
Note: You're not required to submit the dealer license proactively. Submit only if you receive “Dealership license cannot be verified” disapproval.
Fix multiple products at once
- Go to Products in Merchant Center, then select the Needs attention tab.
- Use the filter icon
above the table to find all products affected by your issue.
- Select the download icon
to download a list (.csv) of all affected products for all issues or this particular issue.
- Cross reference the downloaded list with your uploaded vehicle data and make sure that the “Store code” or the dealership location of your vehicle is associated with the correct business listing and physical address.
- Reupload your corrected product data to Merchant Center using your chosen upload method.
- If you receive the “Dealership license cannot be verified” disapproval notification, fill out and submit the vehicle ads dealership license verification application form.
