[Table] Payments profile

Payments profile

The payments profile (formerly “billing customer”) stores information about the person or organization that's legally responsible for costs produced by a Google Ads account.

It contains contact information, payment methods and settings, and a 12-digit unique numeric ID, most commonly referred to as a payments profile ID, which appears on account invoices and other documents.

You can locate your Google Ads payments profile ID within the Billing tab. If your account uses automatic or manual payments, the ID is within the “Payer details” section after selecting the Settings option. For monthly invoicing accounts, it's directly within the Settings option under the “Payments Profile” section.

You can find out the type of payments profile you have in the navigation menu of your Google Payments Center. A “Statement of account” tab means you have an invoicing profile, while an “Activity” tab indicates a self-serve profile.

One payments profile may be used with multiple Google Ads accounts and with other Google products. Learn more about payments profiles.
