You can ask Gemini Apps for help with personalized business advice and access content and tools.
What you need
To connect the Google Ads app to Gemini Apps you need to:
- Be 18 or over in a supported country or region.
- Have or create a Google Ads account associated with your Google Account.
- Be signed in to Gemini Apps with a personal Google Account. For now, this feature isn’t available if you sign in with a work or school Google Account. Learn how to sign in to Gemini Apps.
- Have Keep Activity on. Gemini can’t connect to Google Ads when this setting is off.
Important: For now, the Google Ads connected app is:
- Only available in English.
- Available everywhere that both Google Ads and Gemini are supported.
- Only available in the Gemini mobile app and the Gemini web app at gemini.google.com.
- Not available in certain features, like Gems or Gemini Live.
Connect Google Ads to Gemini Apps
- On your phone or tablet, open the Gemini mobile app
or go to gemini.google.com.
- Ask the Gemini app to confirm if your ads are showing or how your ads are performing.
- Tip: Mention “Google Ads” or add
@Google Adsto your prompt.

- If Google Ads isn’t connected, you’ll get the option to connect it.
- To connect to Google Ads, your Google Ads account must be linked to the Google Account you use with Gemini.
- Follow the on-screen instructions.

@Google Adsin your prompt. - You can disconnect the Google Ads app anytime in your Connected Apps settings.

Tip: Gemini may open your Google Ads account in a separate tab to complete tasks.
Make sure your Google Ads data is up to date in the Gemini chat
When you chat with Gemini about Google Ads, Gemini will access your Google Ads data to provide accurate information.
If you open an old chat, the Google Ads data in that chat may be outdated. This may include metrics and account details for Google Ads. To make sure Gemini uses up-to-date data from Google Ads, start a new chat or follow up on an existing conversation so that Gemini will access your current Google Ads data.
