Learn & take quizzes in Gemini Apps

You can access educational resources and take practice quizzes to prepare for exams in Gemini Apps.

Important:

For now, this feature isn’t available to users under 18.
To use this feature, you must be signed in to Gemini Apps. Learn how to sign in to Gemini Apps.

Quizzes in Gemini Apps

On a mobile device, go to gemini.google.com or open the Gemini mobile app .
In the text box, enter your prompt describing the type of quiz you want.
- Tip: Start your prompt with “Create a quiz on” followed by the materials or topic you want to be quizzed about.
- Optional: Tap Add files and select how you want to upload the source material for your quiz. Learn how to upload files in Gemini Apps.
Tap Submit Open. Your quiz will open in the Canvas panel on the right.
Complete the quiz.

Tip: You can also create a quiz from a Canvas doc. Learn how to create a quiz in Canvas.

After you start the quiz, you have additional options to get hints, ask questions, and practice with more questions.

To get a hint, tap Show hint.
To ask Gemini additional questions about the material or topic , enter your question in the text box and tap Submit .
To move to the next question, tap Next.
To go back to the previous question, tap Previous.
To review your answers, tap Review quiz.
To create another quiz, tap Create new quiz.

Important: If you’re signed in to a work or school Google Account, you can’t share a quiz.

On a mobile device, go to gemini.google.com or open the Gemini mobile app .
Open the chat with the quiz you want to share.
Tap the quiz.
At the top, tap Share quiz .
Choose how you want to share:
- To share the link: At the top, next to the g.co/gemini/share link, tap Copy link . Then paste it where you want to share, like in a messaging app, an email draft, or a forum thread.
- To share on an available social platform: At the bottom, tap the social platform and follow the on-screen instructions.
