Add & customize your Gemini widget

To use Gemini widgets, make sure:

1. Your device has iOS 17 or up.
2. You’ve downloaded the Gemini app.

1. On your iPhone or iPad, touch and hold the home screen.
2. At the top left, tap Edit  Add widget.
3. Search for the Gemini app  and tap it.
4. Choose your widget options and tap Add widget.
5. Place the widget on your home screen.
6. At the top right, tap Done.

1. On your iPhone or iPad, touch and hold Gemini .
2. Tap Edit widget.
3. Choose the actions to display on your widget.
4. Tap Close Done.
5. To exit customization mode, tap the lock screen.

1. From the lock screen of your iPhone or iPad, press and hold an empty area on screen
2. At the bottom, tap Customize  Customize Current Wallpaper.
3. Choose a current control icon to remove, then tap Add .
4. Scroll to find Gemini, then choose the option you want to add.

Tip: You can also access the lock screen when your phone is unlocked. To open it, swipe down from the top-left part of the screen.

1. On your iPhone or iPad, swipe down from the top right edge of the screen.
2. Press and hold in the empty space below your Control Center icons.
3. At the bottom, tap Add a Control .
4. Scroll to select Gemini, then choose the option you want to add.

Tip: You can add multiple Gemini icons to your Control Center. You can also drag from the bottom right of the icon to change the size in your Control Center.
