The Deep Research feature in Gemini Enterprise – Business edition conducts in-depth investigations and generates reports using your organization’s data.
Steps
To perform deep research:
- Sign in to Gemini Enterprise – Business edition (business.gemini.google/).
- In the app navigation panel (≡), select Deep Research.
If you don’t see Deep Research in the app navigation panel, navigate to the Agents section and then select the pin icon to attach it to the navigation panel.

Enter a research-related prompt. Deep Research will assess the prompt, and if the prompt is research-related, Deep Research will generate a plan with the research steps.

Edit the plan to better meet your needs (optional).

Select Start Research.
Next actions
- Deep Research will run the steps from the outline and display the responses as they’re generated.
- After Deep Research completes its processing, it will produce a detailed report of its findings, which include citations for your company’s information in the report.
- Deep Research will also create an audio summary of the report, generally two minutes or less in duration.
